Who am I?

Hi, I'm Brigidann Cooper, please call me Coach Coop. A lot has prepared me to embark on this journey with you. I’ve been a leader and guide since I joined the Girl Scouts as a Brownie Scout in Second grade. I was exposed to service and enjoy bringing the joy out of people. While I considered myself “normal”, issues would arise and moments would occur that left me questioning, why me? When I became a mother at 19, I wanted the best for my baby yet I didn’t even know myself. I had a wonderful Mom but our circumstances were different and society wasn’t in my favor. So, over time, I slid through life, doing what I thought needed to be done. Attaching to the wrong people and habits, slowly making my way through Junior College, slowly learning direction. I can acknowledge I had love around me, not in me. I became a licensed Cosmetologist in 2008, graduated with a BS in Business Administration in 2010, and earned an MBA in Organizational Leadership in 2011. I was blessed to see life beyond my own. I learned myself, acquired and developed the tools to live fully, partially by releasing and thanking the past. Gaining love within. Then I lost my Mom to cancer. After losing my Mother, my son, because he moved out to join the Armed Forces. I was alone for the first time. I could collect my thoughts and experiences and combine them with my passion for self-growth. After a year, I completed training as a dream life coach and blended my certification with my education and my experience to offer coaching and mentoring services. As a mixed Black woman who's navigated my own transformation through loss, overwhelm, and self-doubt, I know what it's like to feel stuck while everyone expects you to have it all together.

Here's what I believe: You don't need to hustle harder. You need to find your what and to get comfortable with who you really are. That does involve moving through some discomfort to gain the lasting coziness within.

Through my signature Cozy Coaching Method, I help ambitious women like you:

  • Rewire the negative self-talk

  • Practice gratitude

  • Release the victim-mindset

  • Create boundaries that bring you closer to people (not push them away)

  • Design a life that reflects your potential, not just your responsibilities

  • Transform thoughts from reactive to proactive
